Bars Against AIDS Respond (BAAR) is a sub-committee of AIDS WALK Charlotte and is comprised of community leaders from the Charlotte area. All money raised from BAAR events benefit AIDS WALK Charlotte, the largest HIV/AIDS awareness and fundraising event in the Carolinas.

AIDS WALK Charlotte is the largest HIV/AIDS awareness and fundraising event in the Carolinas. A two mile walk through historic Fourth Ward is a visual representation of our communities' commitment to and compassion for those impacted by HIV and AIDS.
Caring individuals walk in memory of those who have finished their journey, as advocates for those infected, and as a beacon of light for the future when our steps will have helped stop its spread.
All money raised stays in the Charlotte region and benefits RAIN, Inc.
